In light of the continually evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) threat, Roanoke Electric Cooperative is putting in place extra measures to help prevent the virus’ spread and to help ease the economic impact to our member-owners.
Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, Roanoke Electric Cooperative and The Roanoke Center (TRC) offices will be closed indefinitely to walk-in traffic but the drive-thru will remain open, to help protect members of the community and our employees. Business operations will remain ongoing and we will continue providing the exceptional service our member-owners have come to expect. We will reopen the office to walk-in traffic once public officials recommend that it is safe to do so.
We also understand these are challenging economic times due to the possible unforeseen financial circumstances brought on by the impact of COVID-19. For the next two weeks, we will not be conducting any disconnects. We will also be waiving all late payment fees and offering free payment arrangement extensions to help member-owners manage paying bills during this time.
As the threat of COVID-19 continues to evolve, we will be monitoring the situation and making adjustments as needed to help our member-owners during this unprecedented situation. If you need to contact us or access your account during this time, we are still here for you 24/7. You can manage your account online through the Member Service Portal, through our free Mobile App (downloadable via Apple Store and Google Play), by phone at (252) 209-2236 or (800) 433-2236, or payment kiosk at one of the following locations:
- Self Help Credit Union: 302 W Granville St, Windsor, NC 27983

Your co-op thanks you for your patience during this time.
