Activation of Roanoke Connect’s fiber-optic network has occurred in the following counties and communities in recent weeks:
In Bertie County, the area near Republican Road and Watson Lane northwest of Windsor.
In Hertford County, sections near Highway 561, extending from the St. John Volunteer Fire Department westward toward Rich Square.
Also in Hertford County, neighborhoods near Highway 561 along Askew Lane, Grant Mitchell Road, Smith Lane, Brown Lane, Wheeler Road, Wilkins Lane and Dupont Davis Road.
In Northampton County, communities along Bolton Road northwest of Rich Square.
