Governor Cooper Signs Law to Expand Broadband Internet Service in Rural Areas

Today saw a tremendous breakthrough for rural communities throughout North Carolina that are eager to see the benefits of broadband internet service. Gov. Roy Cooper signed into law the "Electric Co-op Rural Broadband Services" legislation (Senate Bill 310) approved by the state Legislature.
