Co-op postpones 2020 annual meeting

Out of an abundance of caution, Roanoke Electric Co-op has decided to postpone this year’s Annual Member-Owner Celebration.

Such large gatherings have been discouraged to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The annual meeting was scheduled to take place this August. It is now rescheduled for  August 2021.

“The decision to postpone this even was a difficult one. Your co-op team looks forward to these annual gatherings to show our appreciation for our membership,” said the co-op’s President and CEO Curtis Wynn. “However, because of health and safety concerns, we felt this decision was in the best interest of our member-owners,  employees, and the community.”
