Local teachers who submit their applications for a Bright Ideas grant by the Aug. 15 early bird deadline will be entered to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards.
This year, Roanoke Electric Co-op plans to award $8,000 in Bright Ideas grant funding to support teachers with ideas for innovative classroom projects. The grants are available to K-12 teachers for projects in any subject, and educators can apply individually or as a team. Applications will be accepted through Sept. 15, 2021.
The submissions must include an estimated budget and have approval from their school’s principal.
