Description
The focus of this educational workshop is emerging markets for forest carbon.
The workshop will be held 8:30 a.m. ET – 1 p.m. June 25, 2022. This is both an in-person and virtual event.
For those attending in person, the workshop is being held at the Nash Agriculture Center, 1006 Eastern Ave. in Nashville, N.C. Coffee and snacks provided beginning at 8 a.m., and a light lunch at 1 p.m.
Participants will learn:
- Preferred practices to increase carbon on forest stands.
- Basics of developing a forest carbon project
- The impact of forest carbon markets on overall profitability
