This year, Roanoke Electric will sponsor one young couple for a FREE, all-expenses paid trip to the 2012 N.C. Cooperative Council Adult Leadership Conference to Pawley's Island, South Carolina.. Attendees will be from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
The conference dates are August 3 - 5, 2012.
Highlights of the conference include:
- a chance to get acquainted with other leaders, like yourself, from across North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia in an informal, relaxing, and productive atmosphere.
- business and leadership skills seminars and workshops. You will share in problem solving through networking with other leaders.
- professional speakers and educators who will give a broad and unique perspective of the trends facing business, agriculture and your local cooperatives.
- lots of food, fun, and fellowship.
Applications will be judged on the couples' involvement in the community, past and present, and demonstrated leadership skills. Deadline to apply is June 25, 2012.
