2008 Adult Leadership Conference in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
This year, Roanoke Electric will sponsor one young couple for a FREE, all-expenses paid trip to the 2007 N.C. Cooperative Council Adult Leadership Conference. Attendees will be from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
The conference is held at Ocean Creek Resort, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Highlights of the conference include:
- a chance to get acquainted with other leaders, like yourself, from across North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia in an informal, relaxing, and productive atmosphere.
- business and leadership skills seminars and workshops. You will share in problem solving through networking with other leaders.
- professional speakers and educators who will give a broad and unique perspective of the trends facing business, agriculture and your local cooperatives.
- lots of food, fun, and fellowship. The social highlight will be a special Saturday night dinner and entertainment at Myrtle Beach's famous House of Blues.
Applications will be judged on the couples' involvement in the community, past and present, and demonstrated leadership skills.
