2007 Roy Williams Basketball Camp Winners

Roanoke Electric Cooperative and North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation would like to thank all applicants for their interest in the Roy Williams Basketball Camp Scholarship program. The 2007 Roy Williams Basketball Camp winners are Jalen E. Cooley of Ahoskie Christian School and Allen W. Speller of Southwestern Middle School. The winners will attend the camp on June 23-27, 2007. Congratulations to Jalen and Allen!

Get in gear for the 2008 Kay Yow & Roy Williams Basketball Camp Scholarship program

Roanoke Electric Cooperative and North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation are proud to offer the Touchstone Energy Kay Yow & Roy Williams Basketball Camp Scholarship program.

• The Kay Yow program enables female students in sixth through eighth grades to attend the Kay Yow Basketball Camp at N.C. State University in Raleigh, with all camp costs paid by Roanoke Electric Cooperative and NCEMC.
• The Roy Williams program allows male students in sixth through eighth grades to attend the Roy Williams Basketball camp at UNC-Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, with all camp costs paid by Roanoke Electric Cooperative and NCEMC.

Touchstone Energy Basketball Camp Scholarship winners will learn fundamental basketball skills, teamwork and friendship. Camp graduates learn new skills that will enable them to excel on and off the basketball court. You'll also get a chance to meet other talented players and even get to pose with the COACH for a picture that you can take home to show off to your friends. The Touchstone Energy Basketball Camp Scholarship program is an expression of the electric cooperatives' historic commitment to the community on behalf of its 2.4 million North Carolina consumers. The North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation consists of a family of corporations formed to support the state's 27 electric cooperatives.

• North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation (NCEMC), the nation's second-largest generation and transmission cooperative. North Carolina Association of Electric Cooperatives (NCAEC), a corporation providing trade association services to the state's electric cooperatives.
• The Tarheel Electric Membership Association, Inc. (TEMA), a cooperative providing central purchasing and materials supply for the cooperatives.
