2010 N.C. State Women's Basketball & Roy Williams Basketball Camp Winners

Roanoke Electric Cooperative and North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation would like to thank all applicants for their interest in the N.C. State Women's Basketball Camp & Roy Williams Basketball Camp Scholarship programs. The 2010 Kellie Harper Camp Winners are Chelsea M. Brown of Chaloner Middle School and Imane Shoulars of Conway Middle School. The 2010 Roy Williams Basketball Camp winner is Nathan Jernigan of Central Middle School. The winners will attend the camp on June 19-23, 2010. Congratulations to Chelsea, Imane and Nathan respectively.

Roanoke Electric Cooperative and North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation are proud to offer the Touchstone Energy Kellie Harper Women's Basketball Camp & Roy Williams Basketball Camp Scholarship program.

  • The Kellie Harper Women's Basketball program enables female students in sixth through eighth grades to attend the Kellie Harper Women's Basketball Camp at N.C. State University in Raleigh, with all camp costs paid by Roanoke Electric Cooperative and NCEMC.
  • The Roy Williams program allows male students in sixth through eighth grades to attend the Roy Williams Basketball camp at UNC-Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, with all camp costs paid by Roanoke Electric Cooperative and NCEMC.

Touchstone Energy Basketball Camp Scholarship winners will learn fundamental basketball skills, teamwork and friendship. Camp graduates learn new skills that will enable them to excel on and off the basketball court. You'll also get a chance to meet other talented players and even get to pose with the COACH for a picture that you can take home to show off to your friends. The Touchstone Energy Basketball Camp Scholarship program is an expression of the electric cooperatives' historic commitment to the community on behalf of its 2.4 million North Carolina consumers.
