Annual Meeting

One of the priveleges of membership in Roanoke Electric is an invitation to our exciting annual meetings. This year the Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, August 26 at Hertford County High School located on Hwy. 561 N. West 1st Street in Ahoskie.

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. There will be free food for the adults and children, games, rides, entertainment, lots of local vendors with free goodies, and a raffle for numerous prizes, including two grand prizes of $250.00!

Article III, Section 3.01 of your cooperative's by-laws states that the cooperative shall hold an Annual Meeting of members on the fourth Saturday of August every year. The purpose of this meeting is for electing directors, hearing and passing upon reports covering the previous fiscal year, and transacting such other business as may properly come before the meeting.

All members will receive notification of every Annual Meeting before it is held.

This meeting is usually held at a local high school in the cooperative's service area. It is very important that you as a member attend your Annual Meeting to participate in the election process, which selects three members to serve as directors for a three-year term and to hear reports on the cooperative's business.
