Roanoke Electric Cooperative offers an array of account services to meet your needs:

GreenPay

Automatic Draft Payments - This is an automatic direct transfer of your money from your checking account or credit card to the cooperative for payment of your electric bill.

Online BillPay - This feature grants you 24-hour access to your account via the Internet and you’re able to making payments via electronic check or credit card.

Telelink - This feature grants you 24-hour access to your account by calling our office and contacting our automated customer service system.  You’ll be able to make payments via credit card in the system.

GreenBill

Invoice Billing - For the convenience of members, who have multiple accounts, the cooperative is able to aggregate billing of all of these accounts into one consolidated electric bill. This alleviates the hassle of making payments for two and three accounts when all can be reconciled through one invoice.  It also helps the preserve the environment by reducing paper necessary to print all bills.

Paperless Billing - Paperless Billing (alsoknown asE-Billing)is a very environmentally friendly way to receive your electric bill. Instead of receiving traditional paper bills you will receive notice of your bill via e-mail and you’ll be able to access the new bill online.

Other

Kilowatcher Prepaid Metering – This program helps you maintain service while better managing cost.  It is designed allowing you to pay for electricity as you need it, and it is a great alternative to paying high security deposits since electricity is purchased prior to usage.   Click here for more information.

Budget or Levelized Billing - Energy bills have a way of zig zagging up and down due to changes in weather or other factors. This service allows you the option of a more equalized method of paying your electric bills by calculating your annual cost (from the previous year's billing) into equal monthly payments over the next year.

Overnight Deposit Box - The night box is available at the front of the co-op office for member payments at night and on weekends.

Payment Stations - The cooperative accepts payments at remote stations throughout the service area for your convenience. They are currently located in Bertie, Gates, and Halifax Counties.

Method of payment - The cooperative office accepts payments via VISA, MasterCard and Western Union Quick Collect.

24-hour Outage Reporting - The cooperative has dispatchers staffed around the clock to respond to any power outage reports. The number to call for a power outage is 1-800-358-9437.
