Account Services

Roanoke Electric Cooperative offers an array of account services to meet your needs:

Bank Draft Payments - This is an automatic direct transfer of your money from your checking account to the cooperative for payment of your electric bill.

Overnight Deposit Box - The night box is available at the front of the co-op office for member payments at night and on weekends.

Budget or Levelized Billing - Energy bills have a way of zig zagging up and down due to changes in weather or other factors. This service allows you the option of a more equalized method of paying your electric bills by calculating your annual cost (from the previous year's billing) into equal monthly payments over the next year.

Invoice Billing - For the convenience of members, who have multiple accounts, the cooperative is able to aggregate billing of all of these accounts into one consolidated electric bill. This alleviates the hassle of making payments for two and three accounts when all can be reconciled through one invoice.

Payment Stations - The cooperative accepts payments at remote stations throughout the service area for your convenience. They are currently located in Bertie, Gates, and Halifax Counties.

Method of payment - The cooperative office accepts payments via VISA, MasterCard and Western Union Quick Collect.

24-hour Outage Reporting - The cooperative has dispatchers staffed around the clock to respond to any power outage reports. The number to call for a power outage is 1-800-358-9437.
